Autorské právo a obchod pod prizmou európskej smernice o online prenosoch vysielateľov a retransmisii

Abstract
The author draws attention to Directive (EU) 2019/789 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down rules on the exercise of copyright and related rights applicable to certain online transmissions of broadcasting organisations and retran-smissions of television and radio programmes, and amending Council Directive 93/83/EEC ("Online Broadcasting and Retransmission Directive"). The topicality of the paper is related to the obligation to transpose this directive into national law by 7 June 2021. The author points out the need to modify several definitions of copyright uses (eg broadcasting, retransmission) and to add new terms introduced by the di-rective (eg direct injection).
